There is some attempt to provide an overview of the topic and some contextual detail is provided. However, this could be much clearer and better supported by more current and appropriate references. It may be difficult to discern a logical link between the background and context sections and the problem statement and/or research question and objectives. A research question and objectives are provided, but these may need some refinement. Overall, it may be difficult for the reader to get a clear overview of the project and why it is important.
Some relevant and up-to date sources have been used but these are insufficient for a Master’s level project. Ideas may be poorly organised, and irrelevant literature may be included. No clear gap in the literature is identified. Overall, the review does not demonstrate sufficient knowledge and understanding of the relevant literature at Master‘s level.
This section is very confusing. I am unable to understand whether the student is using quantitative approach or thematic analysis. The student has claimed that she is using thematic analysis; however, the ethics approval and other sections suggest that data is collected through online survey.
Findings section is again unclear.
The student has provided evidence that some data have been collected and analysed. The data may be insufficient and/or analysed inappropriately.
There is some attempt to present findings from analysis, but analysis may lack sufficient rigour at Master’s level and/or findings may not be appropriately presented.
Findings are not sufficiently supported with evidence.
There is little or no attempt to discuss the findings in relation to previous studies. It is difficult to discern what content is actual findings and what is literature. There is little or no attempt to explore reasons for findings in relation to the context.
The conclusion chapter is not structured according to the guidance on Canvas and therefore key areas have not been addressed.
It may be difficult to assess the conclusion if findings have not been appropriately discussed.
Poorly presented. Inconsistency in writing style. Inconsistency in font size/style. Poor referencing.
