Religion Question

The final exam will be an essay exam and class discussion. The exam will have only two questions, both to be written before coming to the final: (1) Do Jews, Christians, and Muslims worship the same God? Why or why not? Page length is 4 pages minimum. (2) Consider one of the three religious traditions that we have studied this fall that is not a part of your own religious background or current choice. What do you find in this other religious tradition that is commendable, or helpful, or easily identifiable as helping its adherents find meaning. Page length is 3 pages minimum.

Note that in class, we discussed additional requirements for the first essay that will serve as a grading assessment. This first essay must include the following: (1) a clear statement in answer to the question within the first paragraph; (2) a discussion of Abraham that relates to your answer in paragraph 1; (3) written recognition of the similarities and differences in the three religious traditions and how these effect your answer; and (4) use of one and only one of the articles on “One God” that are found in the Canvas Module for the Final Exam.

For the first essay,I don’t believe we all worship the same God and I will send you a “One God” article. I am also a Christian.

For the second essay, I will choose Islam.

Sources have to come from the article I will send, Holy Bible, Quran, and the Tanakh,or notes from my class if you need them.
