Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to allow you to (1) think strategically about your past, present, and future goals as they relate to strategic planning and (2) decide upon a medical specialty to utilize throughout this course. As briefly touched upon in the welcome note, the goal of this course is to prepare you to develop your own strategic plan in Week 7. The strategic plan you are working towards can be a hypothetical scenario with goals that need to be addressed that you may think of or uncover as you work through the course. The strategic plan can be built upon an area you may already be familiar with either personally or professionally.
