You have been referred for the following: Violation: 2023 HC: Plagiarism Description: Plagiarism means using yours or another individual’s ideas/words without appropriate attribution or credit. The recommended sanctions are as follows: Grade of F in the course, GMU Honor Code Module, GMU Plagiarism Module You have the option to plead In Violation or Not In Violation to these charges by submitting the Academic Integrity Prehearing Resolution Form. This form will be sent to you in a separate email. You must choose a resolution option no later than 05-01-24. Failure to choose a resolution option by this deadline will result in this case being resolved in your absence. Please review the file attached to this email for information about resolution options, step-by-step instructions on how to view case files, and step-by-step instructions on how to submit your Prehearing Resolution Form. Should your resolution choice require an in-person hearing, you will be notified of the hearing date and time in writing. For details about the honor code, visit our website at https://oai.gmu.edu. If you would like to meet with a representative from the Office of Academic Integrity prior to choosing a resolution, you may do so by scheduling a pre-hearing meeting appointment with our office prior to the due date for your pre-hearing form. This meeting is only to answer procedural questions and is not to provide advice on how you should proceed. You may not withdraw from the course in question until this matter has been resolved at which point you may only withdraw from the course if you have been found not in violation. If you do withdraw, you will be reenrolled and be responsible for any financial charges due to re-enrollment.
