PROJECT 3: Ditital Publication
Overview
An annual report, unlike a magazine, is a single story encompassing a company’s mission statement and a clear and focused message. The main purpose of an annual report is to communicate the results of a company’s performance — but smart companies know it is also a useful and powerful sales and marketing tool — attracting potential investors and potential employees as well as retaining the confidence of already existing investors. Annual reports usually follow a rigid structure: a management letter (a letter from the president/CEO to the investors), a narrative, and financials. Because of its strict purpose and content, designing/ concepting an annual report that communicates the right message to its audience — in such a way that is both visually and conceptually intriguing — can represent a strong challenge.
What are we designing?
You will work on crafting an annual report for a chosen company, emphasizing clear structure and communication. This project will delve into the process of developing a visually and verbally impactful publication design, highlighting the importance of cohesive and compelling storytelling. This project will equip you with valuable experience in creating effective layouts and impactful publication designs for future endeavors.

- Annual Report — Cover & 2 Spreads Total
- Cohesive cover and 2 spreads (High Quality PDF)
- Mockups of each page/spread, 4 total (JPEGs)
- Process work will be due as part of the development of this project. The process work will be graded separately. However, in order to receive a grade for the project, all of the above deliverables must be turned in on the specified due date.
