Literature Question

The British and American texts we’ve studied this semester were written during a time that saw great scientific, philosophical, and cultural developments; as such, a lot of the literature can be described as revolutionary in the sense that we as readers can see how characters are forced to contend with the notions of race, class, gender, religion, and politics in their search for identity. As a result, the literature of this period is particularly concerned with challenging and questioning the role that individuals play within society. In doing so, many of the works we’ve read draw influences from or respond to one another. Please give a brief timeline, but then choose at least TWO works that we have studied that demonstrate how characters respond to or defy social norms (of the time), paying particular attention to discussing the ramifications of their actions. For the first part, i want you to compare and contrast the two stories (Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein) and (Bram Stoker’s Dracula). and for the second part wich is the timeline i want you to do 2 stories wich is (Jekyll and Hyde ) and ( Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray). and pls don’t use Ai even a little.
