Personal Reflection LIT 2120 Context: Reflect on what you did in class and what you learned. Review all your work and consider the experiences and accomplishments of the semester. Genre: Formal Reflection/Memoir essay Audience: yourself, classmates, and instructor. Task: Write a reflection in which you discuss your “take away” regarding this course. What have you learned? Be sure to follow standard MLA manuscript format (MLA header, page numbering, margins, etc.) in composing the essay. Students may write in 1st person perspective. This assignment is “complete” or “needs revision,” so be sure to submit on time in case you need to tidy something up. Other evaluation criteria include your attention to avoiding structural, grammatical, and mechanical errors. Explain how literary texts reflect and sometimes challenge the historical, social and cultural contexts in which they are embedded. Write about literary texts at a college level.
