Writing a scientific paper can be a daunting task. Creating an outline of the research is a helpful way to organize one’s thoughts into a coherent argument. This term project will be organized into a minimum of four paragraphs, starting with an abstract.

Objectives

Think of at least four ideas about your research topic which can be expanded into separate paragraphs.

Label each idea using roman numerals (i.e., I, II, III, IV, etc.).

Use at least two bullet points within each roman numeral to briefly describe the ideas.

Reference Einstein’s conclusions about the constancy of its actual value.

Introduce the idea behind frames of reference.

• Discuss Galileo’s understanding of time within frames of reference.
• Discuss the Lorentz Transformation.

1. Summarize Einstein’s conclusions via thought experiments.
