Sponsorships and Bids

1. You work in the sponsorship department for DoorDash and you want to expand and highlight your support of women’s sport.  Research via SponsorUnited what properties DoorDash has partnerships with and how they activate (provide screen shot).  Considering DoorDash’s target market, describe one NEW marketing/ promotional idea you suggest DoorDash implement utilizing one of their partners rights/benefits or an athlete endorsement (identify athlete) and the reason why you recommend this idea.  Provide enough details so that DoorDash can fully understand your concept.     

2. You work for a sport commission in your home town or a city of your choice (identify).  Take a look at the various event bid manuals/RFPs available to host at this site https://www.sportstravelmagazine.com/category/bid-…  OR https://www.connectsports.com/up-for-bid/ (you can also research other event bid manuals or RFPs online).  After reviewing requirements, select one event and outline why you should bid to host this event in your city and what facility(s) could host the event. Be sure to identify the city, the event, and reasons why the city would be a good place to host event (e.g., how meet requirements) & How much is the bid fee or cost (inkind or cash) to host city.
