20 points – Individual Assignment: Personal Leadership Development Plan (PLDP)
Reflect on the course readings, the leadership book you have chosen, course videos, team discussions, your RBS data and any other sources of learning related to this course to develop your Personal Leadership Development Plan (PLDP).
Create a Personal Leadership Development Plan (PLDP) that is no more than 3 pages and includes the following content:
After careful reflection, list what you believe are your three most important leadership strengths, and briefly describe why you and others believe that you have each strength. (list as 3 bullet points with brief explanation why you think you have that strength, including relevant RBS learning) (1/2 page maximum)
After careful reflection, list what you believe are your three most important leadership weaknesses/areas for improvement, and briefly describe why you believe each needs improvement. (list as 3 bullet points with brief explanation why you think you need that improvement) (1/2 page maximum)
Based on the strengths and areas in need of improvement that you have identified, describe two changes that will you make to enhance your leadership development. Be very specific about how these changes link to the improvements that you set out in #2. (2 bullet points with brief explanation why you have chosen each) (1/2 page maximum)
Create a 1-page matrix/table. Do not compose an essay or a summary. Rather, set out your action plan concisely, in matrix/table format. Please list the 2 targeted changes (from #3 above) across the top of your matrix/table. List questions “a” through “g” (below) along the left column of your matrix. Then, fill each cell with your answers to items “a” through “g” as relevant to each of your two desired changes.
