Project Title: Comprehensive IT Strategy and Plan for Enhancing Hilton Hotel Operations

Introduction to Project
This project aims to devise a strategic IT plan for a hotel to address current IT infrastructure challenges, align IT objectives with business strategies, enhance operational efficiency, increase customer satisfaction, and bolster cybersecurity.

Part 7: Team Structure:
The project is divided among five team members, with each member focusing on specific components. The project will be conducted using SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) or a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) framework to ensure a structured and strategic approach.

Team Member Responsibilities:

  1. Introduction of the topic; Overall description of the Hilton Hotel (Member 1)

IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity (Member 1):

Research current IT infrastructure and identify areas for improvement.

Propose enhancements that align with cybersecurity best practices.

Develop a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect data and IT assets.

Marketing and Sales Technology Enhancement (Member 2):

Investigate current IT marketing tools and propose innovative solutions to increase sales and promotions.

Evaluate the use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and their impact on marketing strategies.

Customer Experience and Feedback Integration (Member 2):

Assess how IT can improve customer service and satisfaction.

Propose the integration of customer feedback systems and data analytics to refine services.

IT Staff and Employee Training Programs (Member 3):

Identify training needs for IT staff and other employees on new apps and systems.

Develop a training program that includes periodic updates and assessments.

Implementation and Financial Planning (Member 4):

1. Create a timeline for project implementation including milestones and deadlines.

Prepare a detailed two-year budget considering all necessary resources and potential challenges.

Ethics and Compliance Considerations (Member 5): Research and outline ethical considerations in IT operations, particularly data privacy, ethical use of AI, and customer information management.  Propose compliance measures to adhere to industry standards and legal requirements, including GDPR, PCI DSS, and other relevant regulations.  Develop an ethics charter for the IT department that aligns with the company’s values and ethical standards.
