Get it written →Discussion Board Post Criteria 5 Marks / 5% each unit You will be required to write a discussion post at the end of each of the three units during this course. Your goal is to take something you found interesting during the unit and do additional research on the topic to provide your classmates with more information. Your post will be graded base on whether it demonstrates critical thinking, and provides new, cited information. You can start a new post, or comment on a post someone else has created, but to receive full marks you must post something that adds value to your peers. For example, take a topic you found interesting in the unit, and do some further research on it and report back to the group. Make sure you are writing the posts in your own words, and providing us with new information, above and beyond what was taught in lecture. Feel free to be creative with this and think outside the box. Discussion Post Criteria • Your discussion post should be a minimum of 400 words • You must cite the sources you use for your discussion post • You must teach us something NEW – this means you have to go further into detail about a topic than what was covered in lecture • Your discussion post must be written directly to the forum – do NOT post as an attachment Marking Rubric • Appropriate content that teaches us something new = 3 marks • Spelling & grammar = 1 mark • Citing your sources = 1 mark *If your discussion post is not a minimum of 400 words and/or does not provide enough new information beyond the scope of what was covered in class, you may receive a zero for your submission, regardless of appropriate spelling/grammar & citing your sources.
