BCOR 370: Principles of management

You are required to write a book review of Self-Leadership: The Definitive Guide to Personal Excellence (2nd Edition).

In reviewing the book, you should answer the following questions: 

Briefly summarize the self-leadership strategies presented in the book.

Choose any one of the Profiles in Self-Leadership in the book (there is one in each chapter) that particularly resonated with you and explain how this person’s self-leadership as described in the book has influenced you to be a more effective self-leader.

Discuss how the book may have changed your view on how you will approach the process of achieving goals.  Specifically, give examples of how you have applied or could apply the concepts presented in the book in your schoolwork, career, spiritual, or personal life.

2. -Syllabus overview of assignment: Each students is required to write a book review (3 – 5 double spaced typed pages) of SelfLeadership: The Definitive Guide to Personal Excellence (2e). In critiquing the book, students should briefly summarize the self-leadership strategies presented in the book before answering the following questions: How useful did you find the concepts presented in the book? What are some of the strengths and weaknesses of these strategies? Finally, did the book change your view on how you will approach the process of achieving goals?
