Writing Question

12.2 Reflection

Reflection Paper

For this assignment, you will either write a paper or create a short video.  This paper or video will focus on this past semester to see your progress with your academic and personal journey at Grossmont College.  There are no right or wrong responses.  This paper or video is about you and your process.  If there are areas that still need work, that is okay.  I ask that you write from the heart and be real.

If you are using video, you can use any app or tool to record, must make sure to upload it onto Canvas.

If you are writing a paper, it must be typed and double-spaced and a minimum of two pages.

Use the following questions to guide your paper or video:

What made you decide to attend Grossmont College?

Thinking about your first week at Grossmont College and comparing it to where you are now, have you noticed a difference?

What were some of your challenges at the beginning of the semester, and how have you addressed those challenges?

What are some things you are currently working now to be a better version of yourself?

What are some of your academic, personal, and career goals?  What are you doing to achieve those goals?

What advice would you give your younger self?

1. Who or what inspires you to get up every day and do what you do?
2. Anything else that I missed or something you want to mention?
