In this project Exam, you’ll create a PowerPoint Presentation. This project requires MLA format and is worth 50 points.

The purpose is to show the importance of getting a college education—as well as to show your new skills as you prepare to enter or improve within the workplace. Research this topic online or from the library. Cite at least three scholarly sources (not blogs, unknown sources, Wikipedia and such) to reference your findings.

Your PowerPoint must include three points that stress the importance of getting a college education. You must submit ten slides, detailed here:

1. Choose a design template and title-slide layout.

2. Choose two layouts to use on all slides after the title slide.

3. Follow the basic criteria you learned for a professional presentation.

If you have too much information, feel free to create added slides to discuss your point. (Note: you won’t get extra points for more slides, but you won’t lose points either. Use extra slides as needed to show you understand PowerPoint.)

Format your slides to show professionalism.

Use bullets and/or sub-bullets.

Ensure bullet items are grammatically correct, your slides are without error.

Presentation should be visually appealing to your audience.

Use pictures or clipart on two or three slides and arrange text to support images or images to support text, as per your textbook’s lessons.

4. Add notes to the bottoms of all slides, except the title and conclusion slides.

5. Use Headers and Footers to include the date and slide number at the bottom of each slide.

6. Save your PowerPoint in PowerPoint format.

7. Then, save your PowerPoint as a PDF:

as handouts with two slides per page

as slides as notes pages.

8. To complete this project and receive full credit, you must submit your PowerPoint, the PDF with notes, and the PDF as handouts.

In this second project exam, you’ll create a follow-up Word document based on your PowerPoint presentation exam. Each correctly made item is worth 5 points. Total possible points: 50

Follow the instructions to receive full credit on your Exam. Read each step carefully.

1. Create a title page called, “Exam 7” and style it as a Title in the center of your word document.

2. Insert a Page Break after the title.

3. On The next page, copy and paste your first slide. Adjust the height and width to fit within the upper half of the page.

4. Beneath the slide (which would be your Title Slide), write a brief sentence or two about the slide’s contents.

5. Insert a page break after the text.

6. Repeat steps 3 through 5 for all your PowerPoint’s slides, inserting page breaks after each text section.

7. After you Copy and Paste all 10 slides, create a Header to include your name (left header) the date (center header) and your instructor’s name (right header).

8. Convert all text (excluding the Title page’s text) to 12-point Times New Roman font.

9. Insert page numbers starting at the first page AFTER the title page. You should have 1 Title page and 10 numbered pages after it.

10. Save your work as a Word file and a PDF. Submit both formats for grading.
