In pairs, students will lead one class session with to be determined on the first day of class. The facilitators will be the resident “experts” on the readings, develop questions and themes, and also introduce a current event/debate/issue that interrogates how the readings are connected to social experience and/or public policy. The facilitators’ objective is to stimulate classroom conversation in a variety of ways (open discussion, socratic, debates, break out sessions, think-pair-share, fishbowl, jigsaw, etc.).
