Further instructions. For this position paper, select an issue relation to the detention/deportation and the immigration court process and discuss a potential way to address it.

For example, on Monday 4/8 the immigration attorneys discussed several potential areas of struggle. One is the issue of lack of judicial independence in immigration courts and the other is that undocumented people do not have a right to an attorney, thus even infants and toddlers can technically have to “represent” themselves in a deportation hearing.
