Upon completion of all lessons for a reflection essay, review your journal entries for the applicable lessons and write a 750 to 1,500-word reflection essay following the guidance in AC7500REQA. Students must write the essay using AC7500RE Coversheet.docx, which is the required cover page in Microsoft Word format. The cover page is not included in the word count of the essay. Type the essay using Times New Roman typeface, font size 12, 1” margins, and double-spaced text. The reflection essay must address the below respective prompt and should focus on significant insights you gained through the seminar sessions, lesson readings, IMI reviews, homework assignments, and/or your interactions with peers or the instructor. Students must link their reflections and insights to the lesson material and their learning experience. Students do not have to write their reflection essay on all the lessons in the learning area; they should choose the lesson(s) that they found to be the most impactful and focus on the insights they gained from the lessons and not the lessons themselves. Students may use personal experiences to support their position or argument. If you choose to use course materials or outside resources, you must cite the source using the format provided in ECDEP Citation Guidelines (AC7500REQB) and include a reference page on a new page following the end of the essay. To submit a reflection essay, follow the instructions in the below example for Reflection Essay 1. • Within Lesson 7, select Reflection Essay 1: Leadership. • Download a copy of the Microsoft Word file, AC7500RE Coversheet.docx, follow the instructions on page 1 to complete the cover page and write your reflection essay starting on page 2. You must submit the reflection essay in .docx or .doc file format. o Name the file “AC7500RE#LastFirstM”—replacing # with the reflection essay (RE) number and Last with your last name, First with your first name, and M with your middle initial. The RE number is provided in the above chart. o Students must bold their thesis statement in the introduction paragraph of the essay.
