4. the graph is a little confusing – since you have position of recording electrodes on the x-axis, you don’t need to plot the blue lines also indicating recording position. the shape the voltage is correct. -2

5. you have done the same thing here (plotted the position twice), but it is more of a problem, because now I can’t read the voltage measurements since they are so small. Also, since you did not turn in the Word document (I know you were having problems with that), I can’t see the measurements you made in the tables. Please include these. -10

6. good points for actual physiological recordings (we may be recording from multiple cells). What was your observation for this exercise, though? How did the extra- and intracellular recordings differ in terms of size and why? -4

7. has to do with the convention of reporting the positive minus the negative electrode…I can explain this in class -4

8. Lambda indicates how quickly a signal will decay (become smaller). If lambda decreases, then we won’t be able to record the signal as readily. -5
