Part 2 (10 points)
Find 5 research/peer-reviewed articles (not just 3) that will enable you to take a deeper dive into understanding the topic and list them according to APA formatting style guide. You can use the Purdue OWL page examplesLinks to an external site. (pages 26 – 28) to help you with APA formatting.
The articles you choose MUST meet the following criteria/requirements for full credit (See the Rubric):
Constitute as peer-reviewed articles (see APA Simplified Module if you need more clarification).
- Be originally published in the last 10 years (meaning, published after 2013).
Either argue different (or even opposing) views, OR be follow up/complementary to one another.
- Organized in APA format (fonts, organization, etc.
Please note that your Assignment No. 2 is the one document that needs to be submitted (not the articles), and your submission has to be in pdf format — worth 1 point (which is pretty much a freebee?)

And here is the information you need for the Final Term Paper (that is due at the end of the term). Be sure to read it carefully so that you can plan ahead and do your Assignment No.2 accordingly (believe me, it will make your job much easier ?).
- Your term paper must be 4-5 full pages long, not including title and reference pages, and it must be in APA format.
Your paper needs to include at least six key terms or concepts from our class relevant to the chosen topic, written in bold or highlighted.
After you upload your paper, you must also upload the first page of each of your references as separate pdf’s.
You can choose any ONE of these topics for your paper:
Discuss and compare the types of reinforcements that work best for getting children to complete their homework, while comparing the outcome of tangible rewards versus social reinforcements (praises/recognition), and long-term pros and cons of each (critical thinking is a must for this one.)
Discuss at least three domains of adolescent development, including psychosocial development, as well as some of the existing challenges. Also, explain how cultural differences impact different aspects of adolescent development? Your work needs to also include cross-cultural comparisons.
Fully explain what intelligence is through the lens of developmental psychology, and propose a definition of intelligence that could be universally applied (meaning it would be useful and valid for the vast majority of people).
Discuss the differences in aging from a cross-cultural perspective. Do different cultures treat elders differently? Compare your family of origin with mainstream culture and discuss subtle differences that could exist within a culture. What are some differences and, in your opinion, is one better than the other? (Do not worry about stereotyping!)
