CIS450 – Seminar in CIS Unit 7.1 Assignment: Final Paper Due Date: 11:59 pm EST, Sunday of Unit 7 Points: 100 Overview: For this assignment, you will submit your ten to fifteen-page paper on the subject you chose during the first week of the course, compiling all the information you researched and wrote about throughout the course. Instructions: This paper will begin with an introduction and end with a summary of the project. The paper will include references to each of the following elements: executive summaries, feasibility analysis, risk management, project plans, systems design, project implementation, and any additional aspects of the project. • For example, if you chose the topic of a website for a sporting goods retail company, the risk management section of the paper might include such items as the legal and confidentiality issues related to the website content. • As previously mentioned, much of the content of the paper can be taken from the short papers that you have submitted throughout the term. Requirements: • Number of pages: 10 pages minimum, 15 pages maximum, excluding cover page, reference list, graphics, tables, and other illustrations. • Page numbers: Insert page numbers and center the numbers at the bottom of each page. • Font Style/Size: Times New Roman, 12 points. • Line spacing: Double spacing. • Margins: one-inch margins on the left, right, bottom, and top of each page. • Cover Page: Cover page must include the title of your paper, your name, the course name, and the date. • Bibliography: Use at least ten (10) sources in your assignment and include all references and citations properly formatted in APA. • Proof and edit your document: Use properly formatted footnotes or endnotes, cite resources, use complete sentences, appropriate grammar, and spelling. Deficient 0 Points Less than 10 pages or more than 15. 0-5 Points Reference citations were not present, or APA style formatting has significant errors. 0-8 Points Significant errors impede professional presentation. 5 Points Minimum of 10 pages, maximum of 15. 6-7 Points Some citations were missing, and/or citations have some issues with APA style formatting. 8 Points Required amount of references were cited, but citations have minor errors in APA style formatting. 9-10 Points Required amount of reference citations were included and correctly formatted in APA style. 9-11 Points Numerous errors somewhat interfere with professional presentation. 12-13 Points Few errors that do not impede professional presentation. 14-15 Points Writing and grammar are clear, professional, and error-free.
