Identify a single problem or issue relevant to teaching and learning for the building or district in which you currently work. If you do not currently work in a school setting, identify a problem or issue facing the school district in which you live.

Write a paper (250 words maximum) in which you identify the problem or issue and provide a rationale for exploring solutions. Be careful not to identify the school building or district on which the problem or issue is based. Include the following in your paper:

A single sentence statement of the problem or issue. What is not working? What should be improved?

A concise rationale for pursuing solutions to the problem or issue. Why is a resolution important? How will solving this improve teaching and learning?
