Presentation on Emerging Technology Introduction: For this assignment you are expected to do minor research and prepare a presentation on ANY ONE of the emerging technologies in Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain field. There is no formula or check list which can be followed in determining the information to be collected, as it depends on the technology. But the focus must be on the field of Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain. Here are some areas to consider: 1. Give an overview of the technology you have chosen. 2. The intended use of the technology 3. Describe the advantages and disadvantages 4. Technical details – Identify the different forms of the technology including the various characteristics, variations, classifications, and properties. 5. Identify the companies which are developing this technology. 6. Identify the major companies that are presently using this technology 7. Two or three examples of the application of this technology in warehousing, logistics or any other related filed in supply chain. 8. The maximum number of slides is 12(Including the Introduction & Thank You page). Make reference to your various sources of information in your power point presentation. Using Microsoft’s Power Point or any other related software, please prepare a formal oral presentation, (Record your voice over the presentation). Use animation sparingly.
