An RFP is a Request for Proposal. It is a document prepared by the sponsor/customer that proposes project requirements to solicit outside contractors to do the project. Locate a website that provides suggestions for developing RFPs. Please save your links for references. Consider the following questions:

• What company developed the RFP?
• What is the company looking for?

1. Do you think this is a doable project or are there elements that are missing and could be revised to make it better?

Based on your chapter readings and your online research submit a brief summary report to Canvas. Consider the following points.

• Critical Project Success Factors
• Key Elements of a Good Project Proposal
• Description of Helpful Resources/Tools/Technology for Defining a Project (SMART goals, PMI website, RFP Guidelines, etc.)
