Ferro & Yoder (2024) reveal that nursing education empowers the abilities of nurses to offer quality care. These abilities constitute the Quality and Safety Education for Nursing (QSEN) competencies, such as evidence-based practice, safety, collaboration, quality enhancement, patient-centered care, and teamwork. The primary argument is that applying QSEN competencies acquired through nursing education in nursing practice promotes patient safety and quality of care. Researchers Ferro & Yoder (2024) conducted mixed-method research that utilized Arksey and O’Malley’s methodological model to scope reviews.
