Purpose: This is an individual assessment where students are required to develop an ePortfolio that demonstrates engagement and reflection with various unit learning resources both provided in Moodle and sourced by students within various areas of business communication. This assessment also focuses on Interpersonal and Digital literacy. Interpersonal Skills – With reference to the core readings: • Explain two strategies used in encouraging listening and questioning. (150 words max) • What would you/could you do to encourage feedback? (100 words max) • Explain the term Johari window. What are its four parts? Explain how the size of the different parts can be increased/decreased. (250 words max) Referencing requirements: Students must reference their ePortfolio submissions with relevant in sentence citations and references using APA 7ed style. Marking guide: Analysis of Topic/Issue(s). Quality of your analysis. The overall quality of the academic writing and use of e- portfolio features. Conventional requirements for academic writing but also effective use of the features of a Canvas e- portfolio. Greatly Exceeds Expectations Your analysis is exemplary. You have critically analysed the topic question and identified one or more issues. You illustrate exemplary scholarship in how you have used the Required Readings and other literature to support your analysis and assertions. Your writing is well structured. You provide a well- evidenced logical argument, which is well written and is well referenced using the appropriate Style. Overall, the section greatly surpasses expectations. 1) Each page must display a word count. 2) Word count guidelines are provided for all ePortfolio submissions in the template, wordcount excludes references and appendices. PLEASE NOTE: Word count is only recommended; marks are allocated on quality of answers provided not volume of words. 3) All images and videos must be embedded in the Portfolio pages. 4) It is expected that all work submitted will have been edited for spelling, grammar, and clarity.
