This is the question that begins our inquiry into workplace rhetoric. There are no wrong answers. I’m asking you to reflect on the idea that some jobs are “real” and some aren’t. What is your opinion? How do you understand it? What does it mean? What is your understanding of how people generally talk and think about this question?

Your post must be at least 250 words. Develop your answer as much as possible: explain your reasoning, provide examples, etc…

You must also respond to a classmate’s post in at least 75 words. Do you agree, disagree, some combination of the two? Explain why, provide examples, be specific, etc… Be respectful to your classmates in your tone and assumptions.
