1. Part III of Wooden on Leadership was meant to solidify parts I & II together into a real life mold of what needs to emphasized and how to towards determining an individual’s goals. Part III continues to discuss the individual traits that one must need to be successful in life which is the main objective. While building self goals is importance, as a leader being able to use these traits of success and effectively convey team to a team or organization
2. While many see the main objective as to win or be better than the opponent, many lack the talent needed within the organization to see this success. However, even with these many talents many tend to fail at being a great leader. The purpose of the book was not to give a “one size fits all” solution however examples of things to try and many sometimes not to. Being able try to your best abilities and and trying to maximize the abilities of those under your leadership is the main strike to hit to be a great competitor. By being able to learn from those around you even if it’s the opposite of what you need to do everyday is a new lesson to be learned. So be true to yourself and try to remember that everyday is a blessing.
