The Oregon Trail

For this assignment you will play the Oregon Trail game online (link below). If you have trouble accessing it, please let me know ASAP! The game will act as a primary source so you can get an idea of what going West entailed. The trials and tribulations will be many. How did people prepare for the journey? What did they have to consider? There are a lot of intricacies in the game that will allow you to immerse yourself as you go West.

For this as I said in an announcement, you should submit a screenshot of where you end up or do a little write up (in character if you want) about how far West you made it. This is to take away from the stress of doing another quiz. Listening to the lecture will be important this week so you can possibly get clues or an idea of things to expect going West in the game. I will not share names but I will tally up how many of us make it all the way in the game. Let us hope some of us make it!
