Return to the group topic that you chose in Step Two. For the topic that you’ve chosen, begin thinking about how your group might progress through the working stages of development, and how you as a counselor might support that development.

Create a plan for the working stages of the group, based on (1) the topic you’ve chosen, (2) the planning you did in past weeks. Using headings that you glean from the readings, describe what the working stages of your group might look like (helping clients work through the stages of change, dealing with client confrontations/issues, end of the honeymoon stage, session activities, planning for the end of the group etc). For each heading, provide both a description of what will occur and a rationale for why you’ve chosen to structure your group in this way
