In the past few years, the PGA Tour has been forced to fend off the threat of challenges from rival leagues (made most famous by Phil Mickelson and his comments in February 2022). First, provide a brief background of the main complaints from the players that has given potential rival leagues an opportunity to begin. Next, assume the role of the new CEO of the (fictional) American Golf League (AGL). After analyzing why players are frustrated, and the current PGA rules and regulations, develop a two- to four-page recruitment document you would send potential members (i.e. current golfers) on why they should join your new league. The focus shouldn’t be specifically on money, but instead on organizational policies and procedures that would be appealing to the top PGA professionals.
