Have you ever heard of the escape of two maximum-security inmates from the Clinton Correctional Facility in upstate New York? This horrific event was later made into a film called Escape from Dannemora. The escape could not have occurred with the exception of assistance from prison insiders. Here is an ABC News report. Use this case as an example as you research and identify your own case that centers around what you have learned regarding correctional misconduct in your assigned reading. For this assignment, you will identify and research a case involving correctional misconduct that has taken place on U.S. soil.
