Write a position statement supporting full inclusion. Assume that these will be presented to a group of parents of students with severe disabilities.

Create a chart in which you demonstrate the importance of collaboration among the various stakeholders in the decision-making process for eligibility, services, and making placements. Include the following elements in your chart:

·The roles and responsibilities of each stakeholder (parents or guardians, general and special education teachers, principals, psychologists, counselors, etc.) in the collaboration

·A brief overview of the decision-making process, including a brief overview of the three phases of the referral process

·Some potential barriers to collaboration among the stakeholders, including student, family or guardian, teachers and counselors, school personnel, and the community; discuss ways to mitigate those barriers
