Think back to your time in undergrad and specifically to your experiences with testing and other assessment methods. List and discuss some of your memories regarding your experiences with various forms of assessment. Do you believe the test or assessment allowed you the opportunity to demonstrate accurately, what you had learned? For the most part, are your memories of the experiences positive or negative? What caused them to be either positive or negative? How do your experiences align with or add support to the assumption that “one of the most promising ways to improve learning is to improve teaching” (Angelo and Cross, 1993, p. 7)?
