One question need to ask peer

The future trends I foresee in slots are centered around face recognition and cashless transactions and the integration of these concepts into slot ops represents a material shift towards more secure, convenient, and personalized casino experiences. These technologies not only promise to enhance the player experience but also streamline casino ops and address some of the challenges associated with current casino processes.

The pivot towards cashless transactions is primarily driven by the demand for a modernized and efficient way to play in brick and mortar casino facilities. Theoretically, slot players would be able to use their mobile phones to load money onto gaming machines or buy chips at table games which effectively bypasses the need for physical cash or ATM fees. Cashless technology can also help facilitate responsible gambling by allowing players to set predetermined parameters/spending limits or monitor their gambling in real-time. Furthermore — the data collected through cashless transactions can facilitate better insights into player behavior thereby allowing for more targeted marketing strategies.

Facial recognition technology has the potential to redefine how players interact with slot machines and the casino in general. Through registering their faces with the casino’s system — it eliminates the need for physical rewards/club cards. This technology can automatically recognize players as they approach a slot machine that greets them by name, loads their preferences, and tracks their play for rewards purposes (all without manual input of a player’s card). The potential benefits extend beyond convenience. For example, this technology could provide enhanced player surveillance by helping to identify self-excluded players or those flagged for security concerns.
