Support your plan of care with the current peer-reviewed research guideline. Patient scenario Patient came into the clinic with complaints of burning with urination, fever, flank pain, and nausea. This was exciting week for at clinicals. I felt much more confident than in the previous weeks of clinicals. My preceptor allowed me to have a bit more autonomy in assessing patients. It was challenging at first because I was apprehensive about how to my clinical reasoning would aid me in determining the best plan of care for my patients.
