The stage I feel I will accomplish by week 11 is, competence, anticipation. With competence, I will be able to develop high accomplishments, quality of success. And have very high professionalism in my career. With Anticipation, I will develop positive expectations with my experience in the field. Acknowledge concerns and solve the problems. Doing my role as a social worker. Developing positive relationships. Making a commitment with my job and staff.Explain the process you will engage in as you move through the different stages.The process I will engage as moving three the different stages is first focus on the client, doing the interview and intake, next I would review the subjective and objective information I have gathered and complete the assessment. Next I will create a plan based off of the information I wrote down for the client during the intake. Next I would implement referrals and monitor the client’s progress. Then I would see if they need further assistance or terminate the client if they meet the needs and the goal is complete I would be able to close the case. Lastly, I would do a follow up to see how the client is doing, and if they need more assistance.
Identity a stage that may be more challenging for you and explain why.
With me I feel having Disillusionment, making sure I have a positive attitude with my work place and clients regardless of their behavior. Show positive reinforcement and have self care.
Explain how understanding this developmental process is useful as you begin your field placementUnderstanding the developmental process will be useful to me in my field placement because I will have learned the do’s and don’ts. Focusing on the client needs, showing positive language and body language. Staying focused on the goal of the client is helpful at all times with my colleagues and shows positive language as well as being a team player.
