Bryan is a 17-year-old male patient presenting with a complaint of a “burning sensation when I pee”. He is sexually active and has not consistently used condoms in the past, because “I don’t like them, and my girlfriend is on the pill”. Bryan denies any known exposure to an STI; however, he does not know if he was ever tested in the past. Bryan reports a history of 5 previous partners, 4 without protection. The “burning sensation” began about 1 week ago. He was las sexually active yesterday with his current girlfriend.
