Discussion Question: (Applies Behavioral Analysis Question) Unit 6 Provide an example of a prompt procedure that includes a fade plan to ensure the avoidance of prompt dependency. The objectives for unit 6 are as follow: (Chapter 17)The student will define and illustrate : Stimulus change, strong stimulus control, weak stimulus control, goal setting, prompting, most-to-least/least to most prompting, stimulus dependence or prompt dependence, stimulus over selectivity, and Precision Teaching (Chapter 18)The student will define and illustrate : Prompting, contingency shaped behavior, instructional demand, free operants, modeling, generalized imitation, video modeling, self-modeling, copying models, and physical guidance. Replacement Behavior (C & S, Chapter 4) • This chapter examines how to select and design a function-derived treatment. The designation of the treatment requires two contingency considerations. First, the function of the problem behavior should be significantly hampered and disabled.
