This assignment is meant to help you practice professional disclosure and to help you clarify your sense of purpose in working with potential clients. Professional disclosure statements are outlined on p. 132 of the textbook. Recognizing that not all aspects of a professional disclosure statement apply to you as a student, the following guidelines should be included:

Credentials (your field of study, year in school, and any applicable professional experience)

What do you believe is the purpose of a helping relationship?

How do you plan on both challenging and supporting your clients? (ex. Will you listen more than you talk? Will you remain calm with them?)
