Hello, I’m Billy Arkansas, a nurse at a standalone emergency department located in Austin, Texas. With seven years of experience in nursing and nine years in the Army, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel and learn from diverse perspectives. I’m excited to apply the knowledge gained from this course to enhance my understanding of evidence-based practice. In nursing, evidence-based practice is essential at every level when it comes to patient care. By adopting best practices and a holistic approach to patient management, we can assess their health status, diagnose their condition, develop a comprehensive plan of care, implement the plan, and evaluate their progress.
