The paragraph below is a rough draft of why University of California, Irvine School of Law is of interest to me. I am a Los Angeles native.

I aspire to improve my skills in research and analytical analysis, both of which are renowned in the UC  Irvine Law Review Program. Furthermore, I greatly appreciate University of California, Irvine School of Law’s emphasis on Public Service because of my own perspective through the lens of an immigrant. Being a Los Angeles native, it would fulfill a lifelong dream of earning a professional degree at a prestigious local school. The campus’ proximity would give me the ability to continue being involved in my community while attending school.  The commitment to the legal training of its students led by the faculty’s upper-level clinical graduation requirement would allow me to work closely with experienced individuals which strengthens my understanding of the responsibilities and values of the legal profession whilst in school. This will not only prepare me for my future role by honing skill and experimenting with new areas of law, but also develop my ability to properly assess my performance and level of competence. For these reasons and more, University of California, Irvine School of Law is my top choice for law school.
