UM Predicting House Prices Using Boston Housing Data Project

The premise of this project is straightforward. You are to pick a real data set for which you be-
lieve there are interesting questions to answer. You will then try out all the different statistical
learning approaches that we have covered in STAT 5850 to try to find the best way to answer
these questions.

1. Project Proposal (Due Nov. 8)
(a) Description of the problem
(b) Description of the data set
(c) Analysis Plan (Inference or Prediction? Regression or Classification?)
The proposal should be concise and clear.
Maximum 1 page. You also need to include the citation for the data of choice.
