PC Pros and Cons of Drug Legalization Discussion

Should psychoactive drugs be legal? This is a complex question that cannot be easily addressed with a simple yes or no answer. Our textbook briefly taps into this concept (e.g., see p. 137 for a discussion on medical marijuana) but the issue has far-reaching biological, psychological, and socio-cultural implications for many people. One important aspect of critical thinking is the ability to consider multiple sides of an argument, so in this discussion, we will be exploring some of the pros and cons of drug legalization.

Regardless of your actual opinion on the matter, in this discussion you will be assigned one side of the legalization debate, and you must discuss points that only support that side.
