Get it written →This assignment is really a small project on its own. We found Mia’s Three JS tutorial could use some improvements to make it clearer / easier to follow and prevent mistakes. So, your assignment, while the tutorial is still fresh in your mind, is to revise it however you think best to make it better for a target audience of DIGIT students like yourself. You’ll make your revisions in your own GitHub space, so really they’ll be *yours*—designed for you first, and think of it as a customized variation on the original.
To work with the files in Mia’s tutorial, you’ll need to retrieve them from GitHub and move them to your space. You can do that by:
Clone this repo to your computer (the newTutorials repo where Mia, Yuying, and others were writing several tutorial): https://github.com/newtfire/newTutorialsLinks to an external site.
Find the miaThreeJS folder inside: this contains the text and image files for the tutorial.
- Copy that folder over to your own repo (could be the threeJS repo you’re working in, or another repo as you wish)–just somewhere in your own space where you can work.
I recommend editing the version of the tutorial that’s in markdown (saved as .md). Add new screen captures, add more explanation, rearrange things–anything you can think of that will improve the tutorial.
