Simulations Available Discussion

This week we will review last week’s lesson using simulations available in MyOMlab..( WILL PROVIDE CREDENTIALS)

You have the option to complete one of these realistic simulation scenarios :

1. Project Management (P) – Construction industry as general contractor OR Forecasting (F) – Retail industry as operations consultant (THIS IS EASIER)
2. Access your MyOMLab assignment first to complete at least one of the simulations before continuing to the corresponding discussion below. Understand you may complete these simulations more than once (the top score will be used). ( PLEASE SCORE 5/5) . There are a series of decisions applying the lesson concepts that replicate real-world situations and data in each simulation.

1. Next, think about the experience you had in the simulation and write a descriptive essay (minimum 300 words). For example, explain key decisions you made, how those decisions impacted simulated performance indicators, lessons you learned from the simulation, etc. Start a new thread for this post. Be sure the title reflects the simulation used.You then need to post two replies to other peers. Replies should be constructive regarding experiences in these operations management decisions from the simulation.
