Heart rate regular at 90. Active bowel sounds x 4 quadrants. Skin is warm and dry. Grip strength equal. Moves all extremities. Bedside finger stick blood glucose (BG) 420 mg/dL (25.31 mmol/L). Client is a construction worker and reports being in the heat most of the day. Client takes no prescription medications. Physician has ordered labs.
