is a 57 y.o. male with pmhx of HTN (told In the past1 Rx for meds given but never took it), suspected COPD and tobacco (1-2 ppd x 30 yrs, quit 1 week ago) and alcohol abuse (6- 10 beers daily) who presented to the ED for evaluation of hemoptysis which had been improving. As per patient, he worked at the pool with some cleaning chemical on and then came inside the house and started coughing and noticed some specks of blood in It. He reports he never had cough before (as per wife has a chronic smoker’s cough) but has never had blood in phlegm before. He reports he went to and had a CXR done and given Zpack and albuterol and told that he has COPD which caused his symptoms. He was told to follow-up with pulmonary medicine clinic as outpatient and told to get a CT-Chest to r/o malignancy. Patient’s wife reports that she went to multiple clinics and none of them accepted the patient’s insurance. Patient has also become very fatigued over the past week although per wife has been going on for few weeks. Due to their concern, patient presented to the ED today
