Examine your current or former workplace and with reference to this workplace, create a 5- minute-limit video to:

• Analyse how individual differences and motivation shapes creativity at work. 

o for example, you may analyse your team’s idea generation process in relation to individual members’ intrinsic motivation 

• Recommend strategies for the leaders in your workplace to better foster creativity at work. 

o for example, you may propose how a manager may aid in the creative process by overcoming change resistance

Note: If you are a full-time student and/or currently not working, you may choose an organisation you are familiar with, e.g., as a volunteer.

Avoid identifying persons by name in your post – please be sensitive and professional 

• To do well, you need to:

• Provide sufficient details about your chosen workplace. 

• For example, you may wish to include background information, images, and drawings

• BE CREATIVE! Note that up to 15 marks will be awarded for the creativity of your submission o 

• Plan your video well; the 5 minutes should focus on pertinent points

While you are NOT required to provide a reference list, substantiating your claims and providing the source of your claims will support your arguments and allow your readers to judge the strength of your claims.

You may want to use APA referencing for the reference list.

While you are NOT required to go beyond the textbook and study guide, reading widely and beyond the textbook will add depth to your answer, and references to relevant research studies and examples will attract more marks. There is an abundance of credible resources that you can access from the library and Library eResources. Do note that internet references such as Wikipedia, SimplyPyschology.org, and online student papers are not counted as credible resources
