Directions: Take on the voice of Marvell’s “coy mistress.” Write a letter or a poem from the “coy mistress,” responding to the lover’s requests. This assignment must be typed, double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font, proper MLA heading, and in black ink.
Your letter must be 1 ½ full pages in length, or your poem must be 2 ½ pages (for poems, you are allowed to use stanzas—model yours after any of the ones we went over in class).
